Final View Of Web Page

For my final web page layout i believe the layout works pretty well with the comparison to my designer work and mines.From my last progress of my layout i changed the header of my layout as well as the structure such as padding and the margins. I also added a couple linked blogs to my sidebar for added information on my designer.

Another progression of my web page of Jesse James Garrett I changed a couple things from last time i changed the colors and added more information on jesse james. I am looking to change my header for my we page im going to try and incorporate some of jesse james's web design ideas in my header. Im also going to balance both sides of web page it looks to unbalance so i am going to balance it out.

For my website page i decided to o a different approach with the color scheme and go with the white on black. My designer is Jesse james Garrett an in my web page a wrote a biography about him and added an image of him. I created my header in illustrator and added it to my web pae.

Jesse james Garrett is user experience designer, coined to the term Ajax to describe the technology behind emerging the Google Maps and Google Suggest. He is also a co founder of Adaptive Path, a user experience strategy and Co founded the information Architecture Institute. Garrett authored the elements of user experience  a conceptual; model of user centered design first edition and second edition. He was awarded Wire Magazine's Rave Award in the field of technology.

i feel like my magazine cover was very successful because i demonstrated great creativity as well as balance, color and variety on my cover. i used everything i had to use in my instructions on projct and think i did pretty well

i cropped these scanned images to create a magazine cover showing a stand comedy view on cover. Im using the suit for my body, the bricks for the background, and the camera to show that you can also wtch it live on television.

Masthead

This is my final masthead for my magazine i thought it out carefully and after working with fonts i came out with this masthead.

I searched through many types of fonts and experimented them with the ideas i had for my magazine cover name. i also used different colors and size to decide on my masthead and decided to use stand-up as my masthead and will most likely use the colors black and yellow.

After talking with classmates and my professor i came up with some magazine cover ideas first i was going for the scary television movie clowns. but after talking with my professor and him telling me the topic doesn't have to just be about clowns it could be related to clowns. then i thought that clowns make people laugh and thought about who else makes people laugh and thats comedians. so then i came up with an idea of creating a magazine cover about a stand up comedy show or tour.

My thoughts on my magazine cover i was assigned the topic of clowns so the first thing that came to my mind about clowns was scary killing clowns.so i searched pictures on scary clowns, weapons, people scared and movie theaters.

during class i participated in the class assignment of doing a mind map when we looked at the magazine ads we did for are last project and this is how our mind map looked after we were finished. and for ar next project the class choose are next topic to be about ninjas and clowns.

Magazine Ad. my magazine ad was created by first finding an ad in a magazine and i snapped a photo of myself to incorporate myself in the ad to make it seem like im apart of the ad and after doing that this is what i came out with and i also added a text saying the worlds most comfortable sneakers.

In my final piece of seed packet i was told more feedback of how it could have been better and how the streaks take away from the font and how the babies seem to be identical in a way an i should have made them just a little bit different

second critique of seed packet

In my second critique of my seed packet i received many feedbacks on my piece one was about the font  again and as well as the scribble affect and how the streaks seemed to take away from the font. Some people said it worked well and some said it didn't. I was also told about the gray border on my piece and how it was distracting to the piece.

Since in the first critique i got feedback saying the baby seemed to be copied and just placed on top of the leaves. I just decided to draw my own baby and leaves and scanned it on to the computer.

My first design of my seed packet. I have been told some good feedback to work the seed packet an making it better. I was told the baby seems to be just sitting on top of the leaf and how the font could be better.

Seed Packet Idea

On my seed packet project I was visualizing the idea of creating a seed that grows you your own baby. There are three different types of baby seeds one that gives you a boy, another that gives you a girl, another that gives you twins of both a girl and a boy. I am looking forward to create a unique visual image of the packets showing the growth of a baby and giving color and showing dimension for the project.

Working With Documents

Working with documents consist of creating files for print which is the abiltiy to print out your work for illustrator. Also with creating files for the web and how to convert the artwork to the web. With doucuments you can manage and arrange your files and multiple documents into the illustrator. Also the process with working with the ruler, guides and grids to create organized and and perfect artwork. illustrator aslo has the ability to lock and hide your items and artwork to add more to the piece without changing whats already present.The illustrator aldo has preview modes which shows the preview off your piece with any applications or options.

Illustrator CS6 Essentials

Exercise Files of illustrator is that it has vector graphics. Everything in adobe illustrator is vector base graphics which is perfect for using images for a flyer or post cards or things of that sort. Vector artwork is not made up of pixels and will not loose its quality image like pixels do. You can tell by zooming in and out on images to tell if its pixels or vectors. Also in illustrator you could learn the preference menu and the interface of the illustrator for the different panels and links.

Laptop vs Desktop computers

Laptop computers are also called notebook computers which are designed for portability. Which also has the monitors, keyboard, and mouse already built in. The desktop computers are the computers that are not designed for portability and that sit on a desk or table. The best computer to get is the desktop and you should only get the laptop only if you need it for portability. You would spend more moneyfor a laptop where the desktop has the same amount of power or more then the laptop. Desktop computers generally seems more easily to be upgradable but they both are able to be upgraded.
